Meet the Ellen Clarke Bertrand Society
Bucknell University is honored to recognize the more-than-700-member strong Bertrand Society, named after Ellen Clarke Bertrand to honor her bequest that created an endowment which supports the library to this day. Bertrand Society members have chosen to support our mission by naming Bucknell University as the beneficiary of a planned gift.
Members are honored at annual luncheons, and receive invitations to special events and seminars and a subscription to our newsletter. But, the most meaningful benefit you receive as a Bertrand Society member is knowing you’ve made a lasting contribution to Bucknell’s long-term success, and knowing that your commitments may inspire generosity in others.
Thank you to our members of the Ellen Clarke Bertrand Society.
